Australian Basketball Legend Lauren Jackson Joins Athlete Ally

Long known as one of Australia’s best athletes, Lauren Jackson has enjoyed an esteemed career with almost unparalleled success internationally.
Lauren is a four-time MVP of Australia’s WNBL, and has won the award three times in the WNBA playing for the Seattle Storm. She’s also a seven-time WNBA All Star.
“I respect all of my friends, family and teammates for the people they are. That’s why I feel it’s important to advocate for equality for the LGBT in sports and beyond. Joining Athlete Ally as an Ambassador is a way for me to publicly express this support, and I’m delighted to become a part of such an important cause,” Jackson said.
