I believe it’s incredibly important for people to feel comfortable being who they are and who they want to be. I’m proud to be a part of Athlete Ally because it provides a gateway of acceptance and shows athletes in the LBGT community that they are not alone. I think athletes stepping forward with their beliefs and stories empowers others to stand up and create their own.
