Adelaide United’s Joshua Cavallo Comes Out as Gay
October 27, 2021 — Yesterday, Adelaide United midfielder Joshua Cavallo came out as gay in a video and open letter posted on his social media, making him the only current out gay top-flight male footballer in the world. “There’s something personal that I need to share with everyone. I am a footballer and I am gay,” Cavallo said.
