As a coach at the professional level, I feel that my platform should go beyond reaching soccer players and developing their skills to also making our communities stronger and more inclusive. This is why I find it important to have open dialogues on acceptance of all people, no matter their race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. The beautiful game of soccer brings people of all walks of life together. Players should be able to openly express themselves as human beings.
