“Sports allows you to be a part of something bigger than your individual self. Sports should not only be something you do for fun, but also an outlet, a safe space and a community for those who are otherwise excluded in other areas of life. LGTBQI+ inclusion in sports is paramount in the development of self confidence and personal empowerment. I want to advocate for the right for everyone, of all walks of life, to feel like they belong and are welcomed in any team or organization they choose.”
